At our studio and workshop in Blunham, Bedfordshire we offer a complete furniture restoration service as well as bespoke furniture painting.
Services
We typically undertake projects including French polishing, stain removal (for example, removing water marks, oil and grease stains, heat marks), furniture staining, and painting. We use traditional, sympathetic techniques to maintain the original patination of the piece of furniture.
A popular service we offer is called "Revamp Your Kitchen Table". As the most used piece of furniture in the home, it is inevitably the most damaged. We can renovate your kitchen table removing grease stains, water marks and heat marks and restoring it to it's original glory.
For furniture painting projects, we normally use chalk paints and waxes which give a lovely silky finish. A popular request currently is the painting of wooden kitchen cupboard units. Pine kitchen cupboard units can look a little dated these days, so a great way to update your kitchen without replacing it, is to paint and wax the kitchen unit doors. A brand new kitchen for a fraction of the cost. The cupboard unit doors can either be removed and transported to our workshop, or painted and sealed on-site.

Collection & Delivery
We can arrange collection and delivery of the piece of furniture by one of our trusted couriers. The cost of collection and delivery depends on the distance and size of the piece being collected. If the piece of furniture is too bulky to transport to our workshop easily, we are happy to work on-site.
Insurance Quotations
We are happy to provide quotations for insurance work. If you have a piece of furniture that needs restoring and is covered by insurance, we are happy to work with your adjuster directly to repair and restore the piece.
