This lovely antique mirror has been brought up to date with a modern paint finish in the classic Pointing by Farrow & Ball. It has newly replaced glass but still retains all its original character.

Gesso was a very popular way of imitating carved wood and this one has a wonderful flower decoration. This style is much copied today, but how much nicer it is to have the real thing.
